People often think they’ll never need free legal advice. Then they do. And despite “access to justice” being a fundamental principle of our democratic society, getting the advice and representation required to help people exercise their legal rights is increasingly difficult. Especially for the people who need it most - those facing greatest disadvantage, those without a public voice, those unable to pay for a private solicitor.
In the last twelve months, ten law centres around the UK have sadly closed due to lack of funding. Don’t let your local law centre be the next. Help to ensure Bristol remains a city where inequality doesn’t mean injustice.
