Volunteering opportunities at the Law Centre
The Law Centre has a dedicated and committed team of volunteers who donate their time, skills and experience and who provide valuable additional resources. We are keen to recruit volunteers who represent local communities.
What can you get from volunteering at the Law Centre?

What do we ask for in return?
- A regular time commitment for 6 months
- A commitment to Equal Opportunities and Confidentiality
- A willingness to learn new skills and develop existing ones
- A willingness to be flexible
- You will be asked to sign a volunteer agreement

Reception volunteers
Administration assistant
Casework Support assistant
(only within the Immigration, Housing, Debt or Employment and Discrimination teams)
Welfare Benefits team assistant

Volunteer solicitors
The Law Centre also has a number of volunteer solicitors offering free appointments. All our volunteer solicitors are required to have a current practising certificate. If you would like any further information about this, then please contact us.
