How to contact us - employment matters

Discrimination in the provision of goods and services

We are funded by the Equalities & Human Rights Commission to advise and assist in cases of discrimination in the provision of goods and services. This is where you are denied a service or are treated badly by a service provider or a business and that treatment is discriminatory. For example, you are refused entry to a cafe, club or restaurant because of a disability, your race or your sexual orientation. It also includes discrimination in education or housing.

Disability discrimination

We now have a Legal Services Commission contract to advise and assist in cases of disability discrimination in particular in the provision of goods and services. This may include refusal of entry to a restaurant , difficulty in accessing buildings and public spaces or difficulties arising in education. However, this list is not exhaustive and we will discuss any questions with you if you ring our advice line. Leave a message with your contact details and we will ring or email you back. For funding by the Legal Services Commission you will need to be financially eligible for us to help you.

For more information about disability discrimination, please read 'Don't stand for disability discrimination'. If you have an enquiry or would like to make a referral, please call us or use the referral forms below.
